栃木県にある「ハンターマウンテンゆりパーク」は標高約1,300メートルの所にあり、3日前の午前7時頃の気温は15度しかありませんでした。これはこのユリ園で撮ったもので、ここには50種類、約400万本のユリがあると言われ、綺麗なユリが訪れる人の目を楽しませてくれます。

Since Hunter Mountain Lily Park in Tochigi lies about 1,300 meters above sea level, the temperature was only 15 degrees Celsius around seven in the morning three days ago. This is a photo taken in the lily park, and it is said that there are some 4 million lilies in 50 different varieties here. Visitors can feast their eyes on the lovely lilies.
涼を求めて [写真]
曇っているときには雲が光を拡散してくれて被写体に直接光が当たることはありません。これは福島県の滝川渓谷で三脚を使って撮ったもので、晴れていたら直射日光で白飛びを起こしたり黒つぶれを起こしていたと思います。シャッター速度は2.5秒でしたので、手振れを防ぐため三脚は必需品となります。

When the sky is overcast, the clouds diffuse the light, and there is not any direct light falling on anything. This is a photo taken with a tripod at Takigawa Ravine in Fukushima. If it had been sunny, the direct light would have blown highlights and lost details in the shadows. The shutter speed was 2.5 seconds, and a tripod is a must to avoid blurring from camera shake.

夏は花火の季節で、７月と８月は殆ど毎週末日本のどこかで花火が見られます。花火の撮影は長秒露光が必要です。しっかりとした三脚とレリーズを使い、絞り4.5で感度100にして、このシャッター速度は５秒でした

Summer is the season of fireworks, and there is a fireworks show somewhere in Japan almost every weekend in July and August. Photographing fireworks requires long exposure time. This shutter speed was 5 seconds with F/4.5 and ISO 100 by using a sturdy tripod and a shutter release cord.

この写真は千葉県にある佐原水生植物園で望遠レンズを使って撮ったものです。７月７日から８月５日まで「ハス祭り」が開催されています。ここには約300種類のハスがあると言われています。

This is a photo taken with a telephoto lens at Sawara Aquatic Botanical Garden in Chiba Prefecture. The lotus flower festival is held between July 7 and August 5, and it is said that there are approximately 300 varieties of lotuses here.

長崎にあるハウステンボスはバラでも有名です。この広大な公園の多くの場所でバラが咲きあふれていて、毎年５月中旬から６月中旬まで約2,000種類のバラが見られるそうです。この写真は５月15日に撮影したもので、バラの愛好家には必見の場所でしょうね。

Huis Ten Bosch in Nagasaki is famous for its roses as well. They bloom in profusion in many places in this huge park, and it is said that about 2,000 varieties of roses can be seen from mid-May until mid-June each year. This is a photo taken on May 15. It is a must for any rose lover.
バラに囲まれて [写真]
九州の佐世保にあるハウステンボスはオランダ風の街並みのテーマパークで、バラ・ユリ・アジサイ・ヒマワリ・ランなどの花でもよく知られています。バラに関心のある人でしたら５月中旬から５月下旬に訪れるべきです。バラは紛れもなくきれいで、素晴らしい被写体にもなり、ハウステンボスに来る人はその多様性に驚くはずです。花好きの人は必見でしょうね。

Huis Ten Bosch in Sasebo, Kyushu, is a theme park which re-creates a Dutch town, and well-known for its flowers as well, such as roses, lilies, hydrangeas, sunflowers, orchids and so on. People who are interested in roses should visit the park between the mid-May and the late May. Roses are undeniably beautiful, and they make great subjects as well. Every visitor to Huis Ten Bosch is amazed by the wide variety of roses found there. It is a must for flower-loving people.

安らぎ [写真]
我が家の猫の額ほどの庭にカサブランカが満開なので、もっと高地にあるユリ園でもまもなくカラフルなユリが咲くと思います。これは那須にある「ハンターマウンテンゆりパーク」で去年撮影したものですが、例年ですユリは７月中旬から８月中旬に咲いて甘い香りに包まれます。

Since some Casablanca lilies in my tiny garden are in full bloom now, it will not be long before colorful lilies come out at lily parks on higher grounds as well. This is a photo taken at Hunter Mountain Lily Park in Nasu last year. They normally bloom from mid-July and to mid-August there and are surrounded by sweet fragrance.
誘惑 [写真]
長崎の佐世保にあるハウステンボスを訪れると今は沢山のユリが見られ、ユリ祭りが開かれているので、あちらこちらでユリの香りがします。これは３日前に撮った写真ですが、綺麗なユリのアーチを見た人たちは感嘆の声を上げていました。花好きの人ならば必見の場所です。甘い香りのするユリで目の保養をしてみてはどうでしょうか。
