涼を求めて

　曇っているときには雲が光を拡散してくれて被写体に直接光が当たることはありません。これは福島県の滝川渓谷で三脚を使って撮ったもので、晴れていたら直射日光で白飛びを起こしたり黒つぶれを起こしていたと思います。シャッター速度は2.5秒でしたので、手振れを防ぐため三脚は必需品となります。

When the sky is overcast, the clouds diffuse the light, and there is not any direct light falling on anything. This is a photo taken with a tripod at Takigawa Ravine in Fukushima. If it had been sunny, the direct light would have blown highlights and lost details in the shadows. The shutter speed was 2.5 seconds, and a tripod is a must to avoid blurring from camera shake.
