　今年の4月と5月は比較的気温が高かったので多くのバラ園のバラは殆ど終わりですが、ラブリー・メイアンと呼ばれているこのバラは遅咲きで6月2日現在まだ咲いていました。房咲きなので時には花で覆われてしまうことがあります。

Since the temperatures are relatively high in April and May this year, the roses are almost over at many rose gardens. However, the roses called Lovely Meilland bloom late and were still in bloom as of June 2. As each stem produces clusters of roses, the rosebushes get covered with a large number of flowers once in a while.

繊細

　バラ園には多くのバラがありますが、綺麗に渦を巻いているバラを見つけるのは大変なこともあります。この淡い紫のバラはニュー・ウエイブと呼ばれ山梨県フラワーセンター、ハイジの村で撮影したものですが、ここにはおよそ430種類、約2,300本のバラがあると言われています。マクロレンズと三脚を使って撮ってみました。

Although rose gardens have a large number of roses, it can be hard to find roses swirling beautifully. This light purple rose is called New Wave taken at Yamanashi Prefectural Flower Center, that is, Heidi's Village. It is said that about 2,300 roses, roughly 430 varieties, are grown here. I took it with a macro lens and a tripod.
