目の保養

　茨城県にある「ひたち海浜公園」は目の保養をするのにうってつけで、４月中旬から下旬にかけて、このあたりはカラフルなチューリップの絨毯に覆われます。

Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki Prefecture is one of the best places to be a feast to the eye. This field is carpeted with colorful tulips between the mid-April and the late-April.

　これは「ひたち海浜公園」で一昨日撮った写真ですが、この公園には235種類、約25万本のチューリップがあり、現在は二分から三分咲きのようで、あと１週間かそこらで満開になるようです。公園にいた人たちほぼ全員がカメラやアイフォンなどで撮影を楽しんでいました。

This is a photo taken in Hitachi Seaside Park the day before yesterday. The park is home to some 250,000 tulips in 235 different varieties and it seems to me that a quarter of the tulips is open now. They will be in full bloom in a week or so. Almost everyone in the park had a camera or an iPhone, etc. and were enjoying shooting.
