夏は花火を見たり写真を撮ったりする季節ですね。花火の写真を撮る際には、いつも風上に場所を取るようにしていますが、そうすることで花火の煙が全て自分がいる反対側に流れて、次の花火がよく見えます。花火の写真を撮るには三脚にカメラを設置して長秒露光を利用します。この写真は絞りをf/11にして露光時間は３秒でした。

Summer is the season for viewing and photographing fireworks. I always try to position myself upwind when taking fireworks photos. That way, all the smoke from the fireworks will blow away from me, and successive fireworks will remain clearly visible. To capture a photo of fireworks, I set my camera up on a tripod and use a long exposure time. About this photo, I set my aperture to f/11 and the exposure time was three seconds.
夏の彩り [写真]
花が好きな人にとっても庭師にとっても雨は通常は歓迎で、植物に定期的に水をあげることも必要です。しかし、雨が降りすぎると植物が病気の原因になったり傷むこともあります。この写真は那須塩原にある「ハンターマウンテンゆりパーク」で昨日撮ったものですが、このあたりは特にこの時期には時々大雨が降るので、多くのユリが土砂降りでダメージを受けていて、無傷の花を見つけるのが大変でした。

To flower-loving people and gardeners as well, rain is generally a welcome blessing. Watering the plants on a regular basis is also necessary. However, if it rains overly, the water can cause diseases and hurt many plants. This picture was taken at Hunter Mountain Lily Park in Nasu-Shiobara yesterday. It rains heavily in this neck of the woods from time to time, especially at this time of year. A large number of lilies were damaged by downpour, so it was hard to find undamaged flowers.

この時期はどこに行っても非常に蒸し暑いですが、滝のそばは真夏でも涼しくて快適です。ここは日光の中禅寺湖のそばにあります。シャッター速度が遅いと三脚を使ってもシャッターを押す手で少し手振れを起こすこともあるので、この写真はレリーズを使い撮っています。

No matter where you go, it is extremely muggy at this time of year, but it is cool and comfortable by the waterfall even in the middle of summer. This is located near Lake Chuzenji in Nikko. About this shot, I used a remote release because even with a tripod, my hand on the camera could introduce a bit of blur when dealing with slow shutter speeds.
