富士山

　静岡県富士宮市にある興徳寺は富士山と桜の写真を撮るには最適の場所かもしれません。このあたりの桜は通常４月上旬の頃に咲きますが、今年は幾分早いようです。桜の本数はあまり多くはないのですが、天候に恵まれれば、ここからは桜と富士山が綺麗に見えます。早朝は逆光になり、桜も富士山も暗く沈んでしまうために正午前後、あるいはそれよりも遅い時間帯の方がいいかもしれません。

The grounds of Kotokuji Temple in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka Prefecture may be one of the best places where you can take pictures of Mt. Fuji together with cherry blossoms. In this area the cherry blossoms normally come out early in April, but this year they are rather early. The number of the cherry trees is not so large, but you can see the mountain and the blossoms beautifully from here if you are blessed with fine weather. You should avoid going there early in the morning, for the cherry blossoms and the mountain are against the light. The beautiful flowers are too dark to shoot photos. Perhaps around the noon or later than that is better.
