富士山

　早朝２時に自宅を出発し、静岡県富士宮の撮影スポットに６時過ぎに到着すると、カメラを抱えた人が既に２０人ほどいて富士山の撮影をしていました。ここには小さな池があり、風がない日には綺麗な「逆さ富士」が見られます。この時期の池の周りの樹木には葉が付いていないので、木々の枝が写真の引き立て役になっています。ちょうど午前７時に「ダイヤモンド富士」が見られ感動的な一瞬でした。

Have you ever seen "Diamond Fuji"? When the sun rises from the top of Mt. Fuji, it is called Diamond Fuji. However, it is relatively rare to see such a phenomenon because the weather and timing must be perfect. Mt. Fuji is not always visible because of clouds, but visibility tends to be the best early in the morning and late in the afternoon, especially in the middle of winter. There is a tiny pond in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka Prefecture, where you can occasionally see Mt. Fuji beautifully together with the inverted image of the mountain. I was able to see Diamond Fuji at seven o'clock on the dot on March 6, which was so beautiful that I was deeply affected by the sight.
