花で覆われて

　茨城県にある「ひたち海浜公園」の総面積は350ヘクタールの広さがあり、現在開園されているのは約200ヘクタールとのことです。ここではスイセン・チューリップ・ネモフィラなど様々な季節の花が見られ、この時期はコキアとともにコスモスが見られます。これは昨日撮った写真です。

Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki Prefecture has an area of about 350 hectares, or 865 acres, but currently some 200 hectares or 494 acres are open to the public. A wide variety of seasonal flowers, such as daffodils, tulips, baby blue-eyes, and so forth can be seen here. Around this time of year, a large number of cosmos are seen together with summer cypresses, and this is the photo taken yesterday.
