はかない [写真]
桜はつかの間の美しさですが他の国からも多くの人を呼び寄せます。大部分の桜は春に開花しますが、秋に咲く桜も見られます。ジュウガツザクラがそのうちの一つで、花はまばらですが、この写真は茨城県フラワーパークで撮ったものです。

Transient beauty of cherry blossoms attract many people from other countries as well. Although most cherry tree varieties carry blossoms in spring, some cherry blossoms bloom in autumn. Jugatsu-zakura is one of them, but the flowers are sparse. This is a photo taken at Ibaraki Prefectural Flower Park.

これは山梨県立フラワーセンター「ハイジの村」でマクロレンズで撮った写真ですが、バラは最高の被写体となることがあります。特にマクロレンズではシャッターを押す際に手振れを起こすことがありますが、シャッター・レリーズと三脚を使うことで手振れを防げます。

This is a photo taken with a macro lens at Yamanashi Prefectural Flower Center called "Heidi's Village". Roses can be the best photography subject. Pressing the shutter can introduce movement, especially in a macro lens. The use of a shutter release cable and a tripod prevents this.
クリームのような [写真]
バラのシーズンが目前ですね。バラは最高の被写体となることがありますが、特にマクロレンズを使う際には、しっかりとピントを合わせられるようにカメラを動かさないでおくことが難しいので、どうしても三脚使うことが求められます。茨城県フラワーパークで撮ったこのバラはキャロリーヌ・ドゥ・モナコと呼ばれ、クリームのような白と黄色で中心部が淡いピンクを帯びています。

Rose season is just around the corner. Roses can be the best photography subject. You can't possibly hold the camera still enough to get a sharp image especially when using a macro lens, consequently it is essential to use a tripod. About this rose taken at Ibaraki Prefectural Flower Garden, it is called Caroline de Monaco, which is creamy white and yellow with pale pink in the center.
湖のように [写真]
NDフィルターを使って減光してシャッター速度を30秒にしてみました。スローシャッターにすることで海面が暈けて、もやがかかったようになり、優雅な富士山がくっきりと見えます。これは横須賀にある立石公園で撮ったものです。

I used a shutter speed of 30 seconds by using a neutral density filter to reduce the amount of light entering the camera through its lens. Using a slower shutter speed can result in giving the surface of the sea a blurry or a misty feel, and the graceful figure of Mt. Fuji stands out clear. This is a photo taken at Tateishi Park in Yokosuka.
