夏の彩り

　花が好きな人にとっても庭師にとっても雨は通常は歓迎で、植物に定期的に水をあげることも必要です。しかし、雨が降りすぎると植物が病気の原因になったり傷むこともあります。この写真は那須塩原にある「ハンターマウンテンゆりパーク」で昨日撮ったものですが、このあたりは特にこの時期には時々大雨が降るので、多くのユリが土砂降りでダメージを受けていて、無傷の花を見つけるのが大変でした。

It rains heavily in this neck of the woods from time to time, especially at this time of year. A large number of lilies were damaged by downpour, so it was hard to find undamaged flowers.
