早咲きの桜

　静岡県の熱海は「あたみ桜」と呼ばれている早咲きの桜でよく知られていて、通常ですと１月中旬から２月中旬頃に見られます。この写真は２月７日に撮影したものです。このあたりにはメジロが沢山見られ、あちらこちらで桜の蜜を吸っていました。

Atami in Shizuoka is well-known for its early cherry blossoms called Atami-zakura, which are normally seen between the middle of January and the middle of February. This is a photo taken on February 7. You can see a lot of birds called white-eye around here. They were busy with their activities trying to get the nectar out of the cherry blossoms here and there.
