芦ノ湖は時折雲海に覆われますが、そのときには富士山が一層綺麗に見えます。これは標高1,012メートルの大観山の頂上から撮った写真で、１年のこの時期には防寒対策は欠かせません。

Lake Ashinoko gets covered with a sea of clouds once in a while, when Mt. Fuji looks even more beautiful. This is a photo taken from the summit of Mt. Daikan which is 1,012 meters above seas level. It is essential to take precautions against the cold at this time of year.
