くつろぐ

　日光の中禅寺湖の近くにある千手ヶ浜はクリンソウでよく知られていて、通常は６月上旬から中旬頃に見頃を迎えます。クリンソウは白・ピンク・黄色・赤の小さな花の多年生植物ですが、黄色のクリンソウは、めったに見られません。この多年生植物は湿気があり日陰の所に育ちます。

There is a place called Senjugahama, which is well-known for its Japanese primroses, near Lake Chuzenji in Nikko. It is normally the best time to see them between the beginning of June and the middle of June. Japanese primrose is a perennial with tiny flowers in shades of white, pink, yellow, or red. A yellow Japanese primrose is rare. This perennial thrives in damp and shady environments.
